I cannot believe that they really need to do this. More bureaucrat nonsense. I am familiar with Post Office distribution procedures, including APOs. My unit was for years one of the biggest movers of mail in that theatre, and I have other PO experience.
Changing addys is a pain. I do not know where some of the APO zip numbers and addys are actually situated.
It seems to me that someone is likely trying to pad their resume`with more useless adjustments for the sake of efficiency. Some things never change

I know some units are getting there mail much quicker than others. I mailed out cards to guys in several units, some received them within a week others are still waiting almost 3 weeks later and they are in the unit that are having there address's changed. Its impossible to tell what the hold up is.
