I suggest the suicide reason wasn't necessarily or entirely because she had been raped. Quite possible that she realized that the future would only bring more of the same....

Can you imagine being so violently betrayed by the one person you should trust as an 11 year-old? The level of despair must have been crushing. I pray she was taken straight to heaven. She's just a child!
