A number of yrs back we had a girl in the area raped. The newspaper printed her name. She was a minor. Well the next day she killed herself. It is important to keep the names of rape victims out of the media for this reason.

It is important to keep the names of rape victims out of the media for this reason. In Britain, it is illegal to even print the name of the accused. Kind of ironic that they take "innocent until proven guilty" a bit more seriously than we do.
