Meanwhile, in the background it appears Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader stopped fighting long enough to mourn the Cubs loss too.

Heartbreaking. But I have to say, I'm happy Pudge gets to go to the World Series. What a great week to be a baseball fan.

Yes. Something on television to bring us together and forget, for a few hours, the insanity "out there".

The only way I want Boston to win tonight is if they are going to lose the series on a Buckner.

Also great to see Jack McKeon managing in the Series, three years after he was let go for being "too old" by the Reds and then GM Jim "the Boy Blunder" Bowden.

You can thank Alou.

His juvenile reaction to not cathing the ball in FAN territory lost it for the cubs.

he should be harrassed just for that sweatshirt

for messing up the cub's, he shouldn't be blamed.
after all he wasn't the only one going for the ball

The Cub's have only themselves to blame.
to bad, I would have liked to see them go to the big show.

God -- put a sock in it, will ya? About 90% of Cub fans are over it. You should be, too.

Yes. But it's just wrong to see Pudge in a Marlin uniform. Wrong! Just like it was wrong last weekend to see Emmit Smith in a Cardinal uniform. Wrong wrong wrong!

lol

About 100% of the Cubs fans think the fan had something to do with the loss, whether they are "over it" or not. Being "over it" is not the point.

The point is they were wrong from the start.

And I will bring it up until they "get it".

Any Cubs fans who ever blamed that fan for anything are the ones who should have a sock, pal.

Nah! It looks like Hillary (that erstwhile, faithful Chicago-born Yankee fan), is taking her dildos home for another season.

Either that, or they just got done with a tour of the Crayola factory.

Right. He was on the mound for those 8 runs, right? Or was it that he was playing shortstop and bobbled a double play ball ?
