Your complete lack of historical knowledge is deep and profound. Many of the Constitutional authors were deists. There's that liberal revisionist edumacation shining thru again! Wrong move this time! Now you can just list more than 5 founders of the 250 who were deists! Put up or shut up. We'll see about your knowledge now... Put up the names and a quote that proves it, or go away - I don't have time for hostile ignoramuses.

Secular humanists are my enemy I'm your enemy? Why? I certainly wouldn't do anything to harm you or yours. Hell, I'm the kinda guy that would stop to help you change a tire in the rain, and you call me your enemy? Damn, that just bites.

While I personally have no problems with Nativity scenes, it should be noted that there are no menorrahs, Fat Buddhas, or multi-headed Hindu gods on public display either. The USA has religious freedom for individuals. Period. If anyone has a beef about displaying religious symbols, you and I know the situation would be rectified. So that takes care of multi-headed Hindu gods.
Moving on to the public square, there is no reason other than specious activist Supreme Court doctrine, that symbols of Christianity may not be displayed on public property.

... a "Christian government" in which non-Christians will be second-class minorities...And you call yourself a Wacky Kat. Sly devil. Great idea.

You have already shown that you have no handle on history, so you should just quit while you are ahead. Your knowledge of history has been found wanting so many times, it's pathetic. Don't you ever get embarrassed? You embarass yourself with the 'history' ploy.
Case in point, CodeMonkey said:
"The question still remains, if the information presented by the other poster in this case are correct then would you not call John Jay a religious bigot?"
It is radical to offer office only to Christians and to allow only Christians as U.S. citizens, but the context of the times must be considered.
The "context of the times", clearly stated that no religious test could be required for office. - "Don't you ever get embarrassed?"
The U.S. at that time was 99% Christian. There were hardly any other religions to speak of in America at that time (smattering of catholics and jewish citizens). It was a Christian nation - that's a simple historical fact.
Many americans of that era were non-belivers, just as today. By in any event your 'history' is belied by your own bigoted aside about a "smattering of catholics"..
Catholics are non-Christian?? --- Don't you ever get embarrassed with your own historical ignorance ?

No surprise coming from a career anti-Christian bigot (just like your ostracized namesake! hahaha) and a secular humanist.

"Well, the Decl. of Indep. says they come form OUR CREATOR. Who is right? You or the founders?" Speaking of NOT knowing history.... The Declaration of Independence, while an effective, fiery document, has no legal standing in America. Besides, according to this source, many of the FFs didn't have the beliefs you credit them with:

We're happy to take you at your word. Good-bye. Members of the posting police are required to show their badges. Where's yours? That comment was sent to exmarine, not you.
Excessive baiting and disruption is not a sign of intelligence.
I see, anyone who actually wants to discuss your post is "baiting" and "disrupting". That fits right in with your delusions about being persecuted. You post wild, alarmist stuff about how "God is forbidden His rightful place... or even any place... in our society or Government? " and then don't like it when somebody questions you?
Is your position so weak only Gargantua-approved replies are allowed? Sad.

Catholics are non-Christian?? --- Don't you ever get embarrassed with your own historical ignorance ? You don't even know what makes a Christian a Christian, so your comment is bizarre. Please leave this to the Christians - a Christian hater should not concern himself with this issue.

In your case, Prota, that rings true.Unclear what that means.

The Declaration of Independence, while an effective, fiery document, has no legal standing in America. BZZT! WRONG! Once again, the history ignoramus strikes again! FACT: The Declaration of Inedpendence is ORGANIC LAW IN THE U.S. CODE you MORON! Chief Justice Roy Moore pointed this out about 50 times in his case! You better shut up before you look even more foolish than you do already.

Actually, I went to a Catholic school. Then got an engineering degree, about as far from a 'liberal' education as one could get. My bad- being an 'exmarine', you probably never attended school past 12th grade.

See post 170.
Hey - I thought you were done replying to me? Some moral compass you got there - can't even hold your own word.

Religion & America? hahahhaha. Try reading some real history instead of finding LIES AND DISTORTIONS from on-line skeptics, revisionists and atheists. Do you know what a "Primary Source" is? I'll bet you don't!
To: Melas
"Last time I checked, I was content to let Christians be Christians so long as they let me hold to my beliefs. What's so wrong with that?" If that were a two-way street, nothing would be wrong with that.
But, one atheist is trying to prevent hundreds of Christian children from praying before a high school football game.
One other atheist is trying to prevent millions of Christian children from any mention of God.
This, while true, is not the rosey example you paint with your question.
If atheists are guaranteed a right to freely be atheists, the Christians are guaranteed the right to freely be Christian. It's just that Christians are the only religious group being persecuted with our current twisting of The Law.
