While Bush is likely to hear out Fox on immigration reform, his campaign advisers will remind him that Davis signed the licensing legislation thinking he would win over Mexican-American voters. >>>>>>

THANK YOU. I am in the Bay Area and have many Hispanic friends with whom I also ride public transit each day to go to work together. They're quite aware of my ABSOLUTELY INTOLERANT stance to the illegal problem. Know what? They AGREE. Amnesty, 'free' driver's licenses, all the bulls%it programs DON'T get it with LEGAL immigrants. Bush and Rove need to get with the program. The first contender who doesn't pander and treats immigrants (legal) with the respect and intelligence they deserve, and also realizes the base (80+%) of the voting block WANTS THIS CRAP TO STOP wins the vote. Note California recall numbers, and growing petitions in Arizona and (of all things - Ohio, and NJ for those in 'power' who aren't listening). The Founders didn't want mob rule, but it seems that referendums are the norm now. We're governing as basially a citizen posse - DESPITE who is elected, not how it should be, but the only recourse left. But - good news for California potentially -- redistricting is in the wings since Grayout is jettisoned (yes, ANOTHER grassroots initiative). Sleepless nights for our 'lifetime-appointed' dimmyrats, I hope.
