LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Actor Robert De Niro has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, his spokesman said Monday.
De Niro's cancer was "detected at an early stage" due to regular check-ups, and doctors "project a full recovery," said spokesman Stan Rosenfield in a statement.

They can do some marvelous things to help cure cancer these days. I'd hate to see or here of anyone who has to go through it, but I'm sure De Niro will most certainly see the best available and beat this.
Here's to hoping that anyone else confronted with this horrible disease will have just as good a chance or better.

I ran the race for the Cure last week here in Phoenix and a friend was also running and he said that look at how feminism has the upper hand on even Cancer...Notice that there are no Run for Prostate Cander fundraisers. I told my friend that if he started a race, me and some others would run! I'll be Rudy Guiliani would support that too - he seems to be doing ok these days...

I had my cancerous prostrate gland removed 8 months ago on the same day as Sen. Ketchup and I'm doing just fine. A lot of men have had this done.
