Yep. Trying to give a voice to "everyman" whose suspicions about polling go totally ignored by the elites who keep trying to tell him how he "feels."

The underlying, and not much mentioned, variable is whether the pollster gets the variables right and asks the right questions. Conventional wisdom may be off the mark. For example, right now there is an issue that many Americans care a lot about but politicians are not willing to address. Who knows how that is affecting voting behavior? (Bringing it up here can get the thread censored.)
