It was 105 today where I live. Fire in Burbank mountains, another in some canyons. It's to be expected. I think most of them are grass fires right now caused by all this damned heat.

Wildfires breaks out in Riverside County, other areas

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. - A wildfire broke out Tuesday afternoon in Reche Canyon, threatening homes in the area, officials said.
Other brush fires were reported in the hills above Burbank and in Fontana.
The blaze in Reche Canyon was reported at 4:11 p.m. and in less than an hour had burned about 20 acres, said Becky Luther, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Forestry.
There were five structures threatened, including homes, she said. A small cluster of outbuildings was consumed by flames.
Firefighters were battling the blaze with four fire engines, a helicopter, two airtankers and two bulldozers, Luther said.
The origin of the fire was unknown, she said. There were no reports of injury.
The fire was burning in a rural enclave in northern Riverside County.
