Also touched on was the equally dubuious exchange with Lou Wasserman where Wasserman says to Reagan, "People know you?re an informer for the black list," and Reagan replies, "I?ve never called anybody a Commie who wasn?t a Commie".

Matthews LAUGHED OUT LOUD at that line; he said it sounded like something out of an Edward G. Robinson movie, something like Hollywood writers *think* people say.
