What's really sad is how quickly the President and others were quick to distant themselves from such remarks. This reminds me of Rush's ESPN remarks. Rather than discuss what is being said or the context, the “fair” liberal media elite will attack the simplest remarks regardless of the context or whether its ones personal opinion. Except for a few individuals our "leaders" mealy mouth a response and distance themselves from the statement. I wish they would challenge these people and stop making excuses.

I am of the opinion that they were right in distancing the Administration from the remarks(as first given). Reason, they hand OBL and all the rest of these scumbags ammo for their assertion that this is a war against Islam. And they are defending Islam against the attacks by the "Jews and crusaders". And we don't need that, we have enough PR problems as it is.
