Sounds like a likely candidate. About the only other shark of that size I can think of that would be in water that cold is the
Porbeagle, and that would be a much harder on to catch by hand.

My first thought was a Bull Shark, but you're probably right.
I hadn't figured in the cold.
Too bad they didn't mention the species.
