It ain't right! It just ain't right! It will cost less for an illegal to go to college than for your kid.

Sucks to be us, these days. Damn parents - why did they have to instill in me a regard for the law?

It can stay, we pull duplicates when they are posted several hours apart, or a certain article has been posted many times. I just wanted you to be aware of the other discussion that was going on.

I'm being called all kinds of names over on another thread for simply pointing out that American citizens are being pushed aside in favor of illegal aliens. I was just informed that I am a pessimist!!! And a bore!!! Am I being pessimist or illogical when I say that passing something like the DREAM Act is a slap in the face to American citizens and to legal immigrants? Why should my granddaughter have to compete with illegal aliens for a place to be educated and why should American citizens have to pay MORE than people who have no right to be here at all. Why are there people on Free Republic (on that other thread) who seem to be all for illegal aliens? I just don't get it.

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, insists the measure is necessary to help children whose parents put them in "a Catch-22 situation."

Orrin Hatch, what a joke.

Because they hire them?

I just don't get it.

Me either. I want illegal aliens deported, period, end of story.

No, I'm sorry I don't. It was a while back...maybe a week ago. I probably DO have a link if I knew how to do it...but I'm pretty limited on what I am able to do here on Free Republic computer knowledge wise.

These illegal alien reward stories are making a lot of people angry. Orin Hatch in particular needs to be voted out before he gives the country away.

Castigated for telling the truth? Find people you thought you knew adhere to the Democrat Party's view of matters?
Welcome to the Free Republic, again.
This "Dream Act" has to be slapped down harshly and Palpatine, er, Hatch needs to be repriminded (if not punished) for betraying his constituents better interests.
The continuance of this farce insults and reduces wages of legal immigrants and American entry-level workers. The very people abiding by the rules most deserving of a fair break.

I think we'll have a war soon. There is just too much righteous anger among American citizens because of all of this ridiculous pandering to illegal aliens. Our so-called "leaders" know nothing about the rule of law. Without the rule of law we are finished as a country.

The anger is simmering now...just below the boiling point...when it boils over things ain't gonna be pretty.
