Soft drink maker Coca-Cola Co. (KO), which is battling rival PepsiCo Inc. (PEP) for control of the growing health drinks market, said Friday it was preparing to launch a cholesterol-reducing orange juice.
The world's largest soft drink maker will begin rolling out Minute Maid Premium Heart Wise (search) Monday in the United States. It expects the drink to be widely available throughout the nation by the Thanksgiving holiday in November.

SUPER! Another over-processed, over-hyped product that claims to have some health benefits. If you eat a healthy diet you are more than likely already getting all the nutients you need. A Flintstones Complete can round out what you may be missing...only one thing's for sure, this new product will help Coke's bottom line.

Sterols may or may not be good for you, but people should probably be invited to take it in pill form, not as a food additive. Coca Cola is taking a big chance with this, if medical science learns 15 years down the road that the stuff has bad side effects.
