Which are the links to listen online that would inform me what's going on in the 118/Topanga Cyn Blvd area? My ex's house is on the county line in the hills just north of the reservoir, and I'm starting to get concerned. I've been listening to some scanner online, but it is all news re San Bernardino area.

Thanks for all your work keeping everyone up to date. Praying for everyone in the area.

I'm in Chatsworth and I'm watching flames come over the ridge in the NW above the 118. KFWB reported a while ago that they most likely backfires that are being set while the wind is calm.

The only link I have to an online radio (cover San Diego area) is this: 760 KFMB

To get updated on CHP site, for all over California, go here: CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL

I have to go to work today (in about an hour), so I won't be able to update at all until I get home after 5pm (EST).

LAFD got a pretty good handle on the fire this morning as it entered LA (118 @ Rocky Peak)....they put on a clinic on how to handle these things. Air drop every 60 seconds...the frequency is hardly busy now. They were using three LAFD fire helos, one Ventura County, the Sky Crane, and several planes.
