The person I do hate is Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who is out of control and who has trashed what should be the professional cooperation between the State Department and the Pentagon. Rumsfeld is lost in some delusional state. He's like Newt Gingrich in the grandstanding narcissism department. Both Rumsfeld and Gingrich show how narrow-bore thinking can turn high I.Q. into colossal stupidity. An amazingly dense statement from someone who otherwise appears to be able to think clearly. Disappointing.

She also wrote that Cheney is
"manipulative" & W can't handle
the Presidency. When she's good
she's very good, but when she's
bad she's horrid!.

Yes I'm a big fan of Paglia too, but come on, who would we rather trust with foreign policy: Rumsfeld or Paglia? You know it's actually a joke when writers on culture, who among other things think that Madonna is a great musician instead of an overpublicized hack (which is what she really is), try to analyze foreign policy. Her attack of Rumsfeld and Gingrich reveals that although she dislikes the male-hating radical fems, she herself still has trouble with strong men like Rumsfeld. Anyone who votes for Nader should be automatically disqualified from talking about national defense.
