Well since this not being televised, I think the Judge should rescind that order. After all Geragos wanted him in civilian clothes because of the cameras and the image it was sending out. Your like me, the guy irritates me no end. I actually find him unattractive now. He's beginning to look almost plastic. His hair has obviously been dyed again and his eyebrows have been plucked. Also he's likely using a fake tanner. He's just disgusting. I also agree with you that he enjoys the attention. HOWEVER, I don't think Peterson himself can even COMPREHEND that he will likely be found guilty and actually get to go to death row at San Quentin or at least life there. His sociopathic personality doesn't allow him to even contemplate that result.

>>As I read it appears that the maid, Amy, Sharon Rocha, Lee Peterson have all testified today. Is that correct? Is there still more to come today and if so who?<<
Amber Frey will testify next week.

I didn't interpret that reference as freshly poured.. Just the contractor in me flaring up, I guess.

They also have the FIRST officer on now. He was first on the scene and he took Snotts statement. You can bet he'll be on for several days. Geragos will nit pick every statement. I doubt this cop will be swayed in any way. He took down Snott's statement so he recorded Peterson's own words. He also reported on what he observed there.

When they show him walking into court last week with his waxed eyebrows, tanned mug, moussed hair, and smarmy grin, I just feel sick to my stomach. How dare he even crack a smile??
I think he is convinced that his high profile, high priced, Hollywood attorney will get him off and then he will be a rich man from all of the noteriety, book and movie deals, and possibly a lawsuit against the county. Yeah and one more thing, he's a free man...free to persue all the woman he wants. That's why he killed his wife and child.

I agree with you too Jackie and last night on LKL Nancy Grace was asked what she thought was Peterson's motive. She said "He wanted his freedom" and with a baby coming etc. he realized that would be slipping away. I've been convinced in my own mind for some time now that he had begun living the seedier side of life to a much greater degree and he wanted to continue that lifestyle. He is too greedy to get a divorce and pay alimony and child support plus, and maybe even more important, he would APPEAR a failure.

Hiya Jackie!
I heard on Court TV that Geragos is on jury watch for that trial in LA and he could be called away from the prelim in Modesto at any moment. Personally I wouldn't have much faith in what looks to be an overbooked attorney. Especially when my life was on the line.

I agree with Nancy Grace about that. And as much as Amber might believe Snott was in love with her and they were going to have a future, I don't think he had any intentions of getting tied down in marriage again.

No, you're not. I love shopping in those places, too. Or at Steins Garden store. :-)

gOOD POINT!! I think there was some dissention in the Peterson ranks a little while ago about the fact that Geragos hardly ever came to visit Snott and they were questioning the amount of time he WASN't spending on Snotty. I guess whacky Jackie was the one who wanted to keep him. That's because she's just like her son and Geragos has sympathized with her.

APPEAR a failure yes, that would sure tarnish any sociopahic/narcissist's image. That would be another explaination for why he told Amber that he "lost" his wife. Would look like a failure if he was divorced, damaged goods, any woman would wonder what was wrong with him or the marriage. Plus being a widower may bring the sympathy factor with it..didn't he squirt a few tears when he told Amber??

Thanks Canadian.

I think you are absolutely right! Besides they have revealed that he has had at least 7 affairs. And after the Amber press conference and Scott was being questioned a lot on that, he said he "didn't" love Amber. Wonder why he kept calling her? I think it's because he was desperate to keep her on his side or sympathetic to him.

everytime I post and the page comes back, I see Laci's beautiful, beaming, smiling face at the top of the thread. OK...I'm 43, very happily married for almost 20 years, my wife is my best friend, and all that...
...but I've gotta tell ya, that Laci was one absolutely beautiful gal! That big ol' smile in the picture at the top of the thread is amazing!
I don't know what was going through her "husband's" mind, and I don't have any clue about what went on in their relationship, but to think he did anything to Laci, and then got ol' Amber whats-her-face instead just floors me!
I don't get it at all...

Well I love to hear when other girls can hold they're own in any home improvement store!
(I crack up whenever I go to one of those stores in the plumming or electrical dept and the guy says, Miss, do you need help? "Ah, no thanks, I'm good!")
To: Ulysses
I couldn't get it either. One of our regulars on this thread suggested that maybe Amber was more of a party girl than Laci because Laci was described as very domestic, loved homemaking, entertaining, spending time with her husband etc. I agree that Laci's smile is absolutely beaautiful. Even her eyes smile. She was a person who absolutely LOVED life. It's more than a tragedy that her life was snuffed out so needlessly and so brutally!! And she was looking forward to being a Mom so much. It makes me boil every time I have to look at that creep she married. Laci never KNEW the man she married.

Well God bless you, U! I'm your age and I can't say that I know many guys that have been married 20 years and call their wife "best friend". I am the only "girl" maintenance person out of 20 and I see alot of unhappiness, and disrespect.
And I cannot in my wildest dreams feature why ANYONE could kill another living thing, let alone their vibrant, gorgeous, PREGNANT wife!
