I provided you with examples of several denominations that call themselves Christians and don't accept your version of the deity of Christ.

It's not my version. It's the Bible's version: John 1:1ff "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being which has come into being." It's pretty hard to deny the deity of Christ from this beginning of the Gospel of John. John is saying that He is the Creator.

Apparently, your "insurmountable obstacle" has been conquered many times.

Not conquered. Darkness simply does not comprehend it. John 8:52 "Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.'" The Jews understood the significance of this claim--they picked up stones to kill Him for his blasphemy.

I'm not asking you to defend other religions, just your defense of the quirky statement that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the Muslim Allah. Jesus said "If you had known Me, you would have known my Father also." One could create a bumper sticker: "No Jesus, No Father; Know Jesus, Know Father." The inescapable conclusion is that the Muslims "do not know God." Again, Jesus says "God must be worshipped in spirit and in truth." Cleary one must know the object of worship, or what's the worth of it?

On more time, we have to agree to disagreee.

Over 1 billion Christians accept the Catholic Church Catechism as an orthodox summary of the Christian teachings.

And the Catholic Church Catechism teaches us that Christians, Muslims and Jews worship the same God.

Protestants are in disagreement among themselves about this issue.

You seem to represent a Protestant offshoot that does not believe that Christians, Muslims, and Jews worship the same God. You have the right the believe anything you want in America, and you have the Christian freedom to believe what your conscience tells you is the right interpretation of a biblical passage.

I disagree with your interpretation of the Bible, as well as millions of Christians. My conscience tells me that the Catholic Church Catechism is in harmony with the biblical teaching.
