I attended this Midwest Immigration Summit on Saturday Nov. 1 2003. It's theme was to get educated and activated in regards to Immigration. Happily, our first speaker was very dynamic and happens to be a Freeper! "Lobbiest" her screen name, gave a real needed talk on "Delivering the Immigration Reform Message" Lobbiest has a battle in her own state, we wish her the best and ask that we are kept abreast of the situation if possible. The most important information I gathered was the differant websites that offer materials, tools, advice and speakers. I believe our job is educating our neighbors!That will start the ground swell from the bottom up! I think the neatest thing about this issue is that there is something for everyone to be "OUTRAGED" about! Personally as a baby boomer,the soon to be vanished social security money that I have paid into the system for the last 30 years will be used to fund these Illegals! I have worked long and hard and done my duty paying taxes and this is what I get, Politicians who will surely have their money, but the Illegals get mine.

Or are you OutRaged at the lack of education your children are getting? Overcrowded schools,that are growing faster than anyone can keep up with, and who suffers? Well, you are paying taxes and it is your children getting the short end of the stick. The illegals need to be educated on the backs of your children.

Does the lack of Homeland Security shock you? IT SHOULD! Politicians are ready to accept the Mexican I D card "Matricula Consular" card for an I.D. Do you know how a Mexican obtains one? Get a note from your priest that you are "Jose Jimenez-Rodriguz Carlos" and you can get one the same day. Are you a criminal? do not worry , that isn't even checked! But a Congreesman near you is willing to put the American public at risk, by letting this "no nothing" card be a legitimate form of identification.

Well the horror stories continue and are numerous and the different areas of American ways of life are effected for the worse. But I want to tell you about our tools and the folks on our side fighting the good fight.

I cannot even begin to tell you what they have cooking, you have Got to visit this site and ask for a FREE video they offer so you can spread the word to your family and friends the REAL cost of Immigration and the effect it has, and will have on our great land. This site offers some great tools so get familar with it and pass on the good news!

Linda Perdue from NUMBERSUSA expressed that written letters now are really of no value as one might expect! She said e-mail and faxes are the perfered method now.

We also heard about identity theft from the just retired head of the INS in Chicago Brian Perryman, who shared stories of immigration to make your hair curl and former reprter David Gorak taked to us about how to "Work with the Media: The biggest highlight and a name to remember , support and e-mail thanks when you get on the numbersusa website is Congressman HOSTETTLER he is our man. He is Very awake on this subject and realizes the danger that Immigration is posing to American Citizens. Remember his name! Numersusa gives "Report cards to Government Officials for their Immigration votes. Congressman Hostettler got an A+!!!!

If anyone on the Immigration Ping list wants me to copy the stuff from the conference and send it to them Freep mail me you address! Also ask Susan Tully from fair to send you for free a pocket book guide on how to debate the immigration issue! It is very handy!! P.S. I was interviewed by Fox News, but it never made it to the 10pm news! I think I was a little to candid! I called Illegals ..crimminals! The truth always hurts. Via con Dios, Hasta Luego, oops!

Gutty is our worse ever Congressman and when we went to the anti-rally for their bus tour, they treated him like an icon when he got up to speak!!! He is my mom-in-law's Critter! I got lousy Rahm Emmanuel, Clinton's buddy!

Lunch was great. It was such a great deal for 25 dollars, the conference, all the materials and a wonderful lunch!
Hopefully we can find a good place in Chicago that is reasonable.

Negative, But I failed to mention a guy from the Colorado inititive was there. They told Law makers thaat if an Illegal harmed or commited a crime against an American Citizen They were gonna sue the Politicians!!
