Treasure trove of intelligence files unearthed (Iraqi “Stasi” docs names names)
Sydney Morning Herald (from the Washington Post) ^

The US is investigating weapons procurement networks and agents of influence who took money from Saddam Hussein's regime after the CIA reportedly seized an extensive cache of files from the former Iraqi Intelligence Service.
The files contain "almost as much as the Stasi files", said one American official, referring to the vast archives of the former East German intelligence service seized after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989...
The recipients of the Iraqi funds were described by US officials not as formal intelligence agents, but as prominent personalities and political figures who accepted money from Iraq as they defended Saddam Hussein publicly or pressed his causes...

I noticed that the organization ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) came out of nowhere in the last few years, and was suddenly able to afford offices in Washington, DC and New York City. Their DC location wasn't in a cheap area. The ANSWER group is organized by a man hired as Saddams legal defence. The guy worked for the Clinton administration. Ramsy Clark!

IIRC, during the lead-up to the war in Iraq, a former Soviet intelligence operative & high-ranking defector (I believe he was a Roumanian and am blocking the name)wrote a couple of articles detailing the funding of all the anti-war rallies. ANSWER figured prominently, IIRC, and Iraqi intelligence operatives were cited as the money conduits.
Evidently, these networks were originally organized by the Soviets and did not fall apart at the end of the Cold War, but were intact and easily revitalized. I believe he named some US organizers by name, as well. I can't recall if those were groups or individuals.
I know there are FReepers w/great, organized files of links and expect one of them can post the relevant articles.

Do the name "kofee Annon"...(sorry about spelling) mean anything? I'll just bet he was payed off. There were rumors about bribes and skimming off the top of the oil for food program. The UN books were suppose to be auditted...don't know if it was ever done.

It will take time to digest this pile of documents because not many of the US Military in Iraq reads French. I believe that Chirac's mistress recently moved and so her old address might mislead. Each of the children that she and Chirac have are on Saddam's, let's call it, "contacts" list and were paid directly. It will probably be best not to mention any of this to the Enchfray!

Good find. Thanks for posting.
This treasure trove of info, will have to be weighed against those 900 FBI files that HRC still has. She and the X42 have covered their rears very nicely, all these years.

Ramsey Clark - former U.S. Attorney General for CLINTON the corrupt is Saddams LAWYER for crying out loud!

http://www.namebase.org/p2search.html ramsey clark and ANSWER.
(Namebase is a cool tool that I recently stumbled across, but don't really know.)

"And ANSWER was somehow able to finance publicity, permits, and supplies for rally after rally. Rallies have costs."
Chartered buses for demonstrators and airfare for key ANSWER organizers also costs a lot of money. I have found countless other organizations with internet links to ANSWER so what we see may be only a small part of the picture.

None whatsoever. Do you remember reading about the second Bin Ladin tape? The media allowed one to be public, but the other was kept quiet? According to an article (I'm sure it must have been posted here), even O'Soma Bin Ladin condemned the U.S. for not doing anything about Clintons immoral and crimminal behavior.
If a mass murderer feels Clinton is even worse for the U.S. than he is, that's pretty bad!

"Ramsey Clark - former U.S. Attorney General for CLINTON"
I believe Clark was appointed as AG by LBJ. From what I have found, Ramsey Clark and Lynne Stewart were attorneys of record for Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman who was convicted for plotting terrorist acts against the United States and may have been connected to Ramzi Yousef and the '93 WTC bombing.
