[history]
To get your face featured on a U.S. stamp, it helps to be a dead president. In Mordovia, you only need to have had sex with a living president.
Welcome to the wacky world of philately - in which countries all over the world issue stamps that celebrate not only the best and the brightest, but also the slimiest and sleaziest.

One of these days, this poor girl will surely realize how she was taken.
I think some people will never see the horrible, unfit man Clinton was and the great mistake the nation made by electing him not once but twice. His crimes IMP should have landed him in jail or worse.

Ah, Bill Clinton, continuing to embarrass an entire nation on a daily basis.

Looks like I'll have to add to my collection of Bill and Monica Stamps.

This must be a hoax.
There is no country (in the UN or not)called "Mordovia." There is a country called Moldova which broke off from the Soviet Union next to Romania in the 1990 time frame.
It's a funny hoax, though! The stamps are keepers.

Legacy bump. (My prediction holds: A hundred years from now the words "Bill Clinton" will be most familar as the start of any one of a number of bawdy jokes.)

OK, I stand corrected -- it appears to be one of the small places within the country of Russia that wants its own identity - like Checknya. It may be equivalent to one of our states.
Issuing stamps is a great sign of the entrepreneurism of the state of Mordovia!
