Yes--and any religious document/or State Constitution that is a work in progress-- and dependant upon the interpretation of the moment by the cultic elite to be considered valid-- is still a dangeorus Cult What are you talking about? I'm quite happy that Christianity has taken a different interpretation of the Bible than it had five hundred years ago. It is now a much more peaceful religion, generally well-integrated into modern times.

I don't think the Bible was historically interpreted to require warlike actions or violence on the part of its adherents. The fighting to extend or preserve different sects' interpretations of the bible were not justified bythe bible itself. The Koran has many straight out kill-the-unbeliever passages. The Bible has nothing like that.Spreading the Faith was used as excuse for war but no one made war because they interpreted the bible o require it.
