Where do you get this from? Ismailis tithe their income to him. It's called "Dassondh", the minimum is 12.5% of gross income. Many give 25%. Do you have a source for the "weight in gold" claim?
Well yeah. It is fairly common knowledge that these guys used to weigh their AGA, an hereditary title, and give the old boy his weight in gold in a rather elaborate ceremony. Check your National Geographic files.
