Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Thanks, and apologies to whoever thinks this is a stupid post. And I only put Hannity's URL in because it wouldn't let me post without one.

shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. Haven't The Pretty Sorry Bunch been doing that for months now? Heck, Kerry had improper communications with Kofi Annan and might have fixed the "Valerie Plame" scandal.

Probably along the lines of more boatloads of Haitian immigrants that show up two days before the election.
McAuliffe and Gore were in Taiwan last week, and Clinton is hobnobbing with Chretian and some other third world leader.
Of course something is up. They've been blustering about Homeland Security lately, so look to the shores for their handiwork.

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2003/11/4/165925.shtml "We have carefully reviewed our options under the rules and believe we have identified the best approach. Our plan is as follows:
"1) Pull the majority along as far as we can on issues that may lead to major new disclosures regarding improper or questionable conduct by administration officials. We are having some success in that regard.
"For example, in addition to the President's State of the Union speech, the chairman [Sen. Pat Roberts] has agreed to look at the activities of the office of the Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, as well as Secretary Bolton's office at the State Department.
"The fact that the chairman supports our investigations into these offices and cosigns our requests for information is helpful and potentially crucial. We don't know what we will find but our prospects for getting the access we seek is far greater when we have the backing of the majority. [We can verbally mention some of the intriguing leads we are pursuing.]
"2) Assiduously prepare Democratic "additional views" to attach to any interim or final reports the committee may release. Committee rules provide this opportunity and we intend to take full advantage of it.
"In that regard we may have already compiled all the public statements on Iraq made by senior administration officials. We will identify the most exaggerated claims. We will contrast them with the intelligence estimates that have since been declassified. Our additional views will also, among other things, castigate the majority for seeking to limit the scope of the inquiry.
"The Democrats will then be in a strong position to reopen the question of establishing an Independent Commission [i.e., the Corzine Amendment.]"

A memo circulated among Democrats on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence shows the committee's minority plotting to use classified information against the White House in next year's presidential campaign. This is treason.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/ Pat roberts is Chairman of the Senate Select Committee. Jay Rockerfeller is Vice-Chairman.
Come to think of it, Rockerfeller has been embarassing himself on television lately. This kind of incompetent posing is typically a warm-up to a big DNC disinformation campaign - always an embarassing failure.

It's about a memo from a Dem from the Select Intell Committe on how the plan on attacking President Bush with the information them have In other words, they plan to spin what pre-war intelligence they receive against the President. I'm sure this is precisely the reason the White House was originally reluctant to send the intel. to the Sen. committee.
I'm shock, shocked I tell you, to find there is politics going on inside the Democrat Senate Caucus!
