I always thought they leaned conservative but one of the shows; I think it was on one of the Tree House of Horror episodes (Halloween).
It had the aliens leaving and with what sounded like a voice over of Bart saying, "Don't forget to take Ken Starr". I think it was a voice over since it was from a long shot, he definitely said it.

Even though they had an episode that had Homer jumping a shark on a motorcycle, they're still one of the funniest shows on TV. I lost a little respect when they killed off Maude, though.

Maude's voice quit so they either killed her or changed her voice. I think the episode she died is one of the best.

I wish they would have taken Ken Starr, and left the job to an open mind without an agenda. There was a lot of there there, and Starr missed nearly all of it.
