"Propaganda isn't what you tell people," CBS founder William S. Paley used to say. "It's what you don't tell them."

And now, on the evenings of Nov. 16 and 18, viewers at Paley's old network won't be told anything at all about Ronald Reagan, the president or the man.

The propagandists win again.

I can't read this after I saw the name of the author. There should be a court order forcing Ellis Henican to wear a shirt at all times with the words Barf Alert or maybe tatoo it on his forehead.

Yep, not a single quote from the script. It's just like liberal reports to skip over the facts. Nevermind that quotes to Regan have been admitted false. Never mind that the producers admitted making things up. Never mind the network backtraking (We only meant it to be a love story).

Being a liberal Journalist means you can ignore the facts and spin lies to your hearts content.

Here is my e-mail to this clown:

Mr. Henican,

Once again the Liberal block in this country has shown their true colors, and your column is a perfect example. If you truly believe that CBS pulled The Reagans because of pressure from special interest groups, you are sadly mistaken. This was accomplished by the people of Middle America, the very same people who voted overwhelmingly in two elections to give President Reagan his landslide victories. The same people you and your liberal buddies look down on as unsophisticated rednecks and hillbillies. Get used to it, now with the internet, Fox News, and Talk radio, the mainstream media can no longer pull the wool over the eyes of the American people, this is what I think you are truely upset about. Secondly I never saw your outrage when it was liberals boycotting the Dr. Laura TV show. Hipocracy? You don't need to tell me. I already know the answer to that one, and so do the rest of the American people.

I had never heard of Ellis Henican before today, but when I did a search on Google, I found that he is not only a staff columnist for Newsday, but also joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a political contributor in July of 1999. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,2116,00.html
