It's about time you got a glimpse of cold reality.
I've been working since the late 60s, sometimes two jobs at a time. I've been layed off three times, once almost for a year, but somehow my wife and I have always provided for our family and that includes insurance.
Essentially, it's called responsibility, or in other words that some of you might recognize - improvise, adapt and overcome. Take your whining somewhere else.

it's past time for your reality check. When you loose your job that has a group policy, and because of prior health problems, are deemed ineligleable for an individual policy, that cold, hard, reality will come creeping in.
