I've got a question: Was 9/11 significant to the Muslims? In other words; did they pick that DATE or was it just a random day when they attacked? If the date wasn't important, then all of this talk of 11/9 or 11/11 is meaningless.

One can always find numbers that are "significant" to those looking for such numbers. 9/11 came 911 years after the Assassins were founded at Alumut in 1090 AD.

It was important enough of a month and an important enough of a event to be featured on the monthly calendar BEFORE the 9-11 attacks.
