To: Held_to_Ransom
As a medic, I've served with light infantry, mech. infantry, and armor. A good Armor Company CO informed me the shell of an M1A1 "Will go through 15,400 layers of poncho and liner." Until now, this American tank was THE place to be on the battlefield. Besides, armor dudes travel with lawn chairs, hibachis, and steaks in coolers.

LOL. I wonder who tried it, and how much it cost the gubbermint.
