Gertrude can rest in peace, knowing that, as a registered Democrat, just because she is dead, doesn't mean she won't be voting in the next election. ;)

What does a Democrat care about politics after they are dead? Where they are going, there ARE no politics. But this lady's vote will be safe for the Democrats for decades to come, as she shall never be deleted from the rolls. No matter who the Democrats support for office.

Of course, if reform ever comes to N'arlins, that may change.
