Guess so. But I think they are mainly used for training.

I was trained on F-4's back in the early 80's and am suprised to see the photo of them still being used. Not a bad thing though, the Wild Weasles are quite solidly built. They were well maintained and probably have many years of life left in them.

We used to joke about the fact that with enough thrust, even a Brick can fly.

A little hard to tell, but I'd guess at about 500 meters AGL. That's about a third of the 5000 feet requested, which is around 1500 meters.
