....the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA) Eighth Trade Ministerial meeting which will take place in Miami Nov. 17-21

I bet most of the invitees would be very understanding if the meeting time or date was changed at the last minute.

Now THAT would be hilarious.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The organizers of the Bombay Resistance 2004 list some of the organizations that have been underwriting the new Marxist insurgents. They include "Droits and Democratie," a foundation run by the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Heinrich Boll Foundation, of the German Green Party, part of that country's ruling coalition; "Le Monde Diplomatique," a French news magazine; ICCO, a group of six Dutch churches funded by their government and the European Union; Oxfam, the British charity group; and the city and state governments of Porto Alegre and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.

And, of course, there are a raft of countries, ranging from the Danish, Finnish, German, Italian, Netherlands, Norwegian and the Swedish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the truly radical Canadian International Development Agency."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "There is a special role for the Ford Foundation. It contributed at least $735,000 during the past two years to the World Social Forum to fund its revolutionary planning. But, the Ford Foundation has the leader it deserves in Paul Allaire, the former CEO and chairman of the Xerox Corporation. Allaire and twelve of his colleagues were caught by the Securities and Exchange Commission and charged in federal court with a series of stock frauds."

Cancun? Seattle? San Fran? When will these people get their heads together and meet in Dallas or San Antonio? We Texans would looove the chance to say, "You wanna play? Bring it on!"
