Imagine the world the author describes?! I lived it. Well, almost. You had to look hard sometimes to get the "rest of the story" -- or, for that matter, just to get the story -- during the dark age of the FCC "Fairness Doctrine."

You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but to fool all of the people (almost) all of the time you need a 'Fairness Doctrine."

Talk radio was not invented by this generation. President Reagan freed it from prison in 1987. It did more than twenty years behind bars placed there by liberals' complaints against conservative opinion. Station owners dropped discussion fearing for their licenses.

The gray mice would be repelled by the cruelty and indifference of the evil Reagan, a backward tight-assed religious fanatic, and his shrewish wife, the shrill backstabbing Nancy.
