I have been searching for this historically important speech, which I have only seen exerpted.

WOW! What a great speach!

I kept saying to my self as I read it, "what a great line, should have held that one for the SOTU".

A speach for the ages, and all time. Very "Churchillian" .

Now I can't wait for the STOU. Go get 'em, Mr. President!

This is a great speech and it's been greatly under-reported. Good post! (And thanks to William Safire's column for calling my attention to this speech.)

Working for the spread of freedom can be hard. Yet, America has accomplished hard tasks before. Our nation is strong; we're strong of heart.

I think that's my favorite line.
