Bush Blogs and the Grassroots' Movements are Changing Campaigns

Vice-President Cheney just sent out an e-mail to hundreds of thousands of Bush supporters seeking campaign contributions. What is so special about that? Take a look at the denominations he is seeking:Well, as anyone who has followed the on-line movement in support of the President knows, these are the exact amounts the campaign has been receiveing and could tabulate as specifically from Internet fundraising alone. This was a movement championed by people like Josh McClain and picked up by many bloggers across the blogosphere like the cool chicks at Right We Are and even yours truly. Well it is now quote obvious that we are making a real difference and, as if there was any question, the campaign is embracing/supporting our efforts to re-elect this great President during this most important moment of our generation.

Get on board now and do what you can to support the President by answering both Vice President Cheney's call and the call of the Bush Bloggers everywhere!

Posted the Blogsforbush.yahoo.com comments on this thread because they immediately spotted that the Vice President was referencing the Campaign that was launched here on FR and other conservative sites of $4 for '04 when you donate to the Presidential campaign. That idea has spread across the Internet as Grassroots donations have increased dramatically with the $4 added to each contribution from the Grassroots.

The Bush-Cheney campaign has made the Grassroots movement one of the pillars of the campaign and we want them to know that the Grassroots continues to stand strongly behind the Bush-Cheney '04 reelection campaign for FOUR MORE YEARS!

With the Vice President recognizing $4 for '04 campaign contributions, we are asking you to please continue to donate to Bush-Cheney making sure your donations end with a "4" for the Grassroots campaign of $4 for '04! Thanks to all who have donated and to those who will be making donations in the future.

In reality, the election campaign for 2004 got underway in the Dem Media the day SCOTUS stopped the FL shenannigans. The Media has been in 2004 Campaign Mode ever since. ABC, in all of its news and news-oriented programs (such as Primetime Live and 20-20) has already had a "Vote 2004" logo as part of its lower-right-corner bug since summer. A year out, and they're desperately trying for turnout.

I received this e-mail. Mine had a beautiful, picture perfect photo of POTUS and V.P. standing together.

That's cool that the $4 for '04 is recognized by Cheney. Do you recall who it was that originally came up with the idea?

Folks I comtribute to the GOP from time to time. I constently get mail and phone calls from the party asking for contibutions. It is getting to be counter productive. I get 2 or 3 letters a week. It is almost a nuisance. Does any body else feel this way. What ever I send them, they spend at least as much in letters and phone calls. There time and money would be better spent soliciting people not as a true republican as I am.
