They have found a way to get out of academic emergency by shipping all kids they can't handle to a warehouse, which is the school my wife works in; for two more days.
The kids there are only up to 8th grade. Most of them will end up in prison before they are 18. The police get sent there nearly every day and make arrests. They trouble kids can't be suspended. If they keep messing up at this school they go to the detention home for awhile.
I understand this inability to suspend kids has to do with the "no child left behind" program instituted by our Federal Government.
The schools are a complete joke. We were sent there last week on an 8 year old smoking pot. The school just had a convict come in and talk to kids. Then the kids went on the computer and pointed out their relatives who's mug shots are on line that are in prison.
