Mr. Soro is a hedge fund guy who likes the manipulate the markets. I would not be surprised if there is another another motive here. He might be upset with the SEC coming down hard on Mutual funds and Hedge funds for insider trading.... I also would not be surprised if the Democrats are trying to keep the markets down to mess up Bush for the election.

I don't believe this, not a bit, but I am just trying to trace some thought processes (or lack thereof) among those who seem to be visceral Bush-haters.

Soros, etal., believe that drug legalization is their route to ultimate power and wealth. Their agenda includes more UN power, a national police force and TOTAL GUN CONTROL. These guys are dangerous and all the fools that spout their pro-drug propaganda should be aware of what they are abetting. Soros, etal., have funded most of the pro-drug initiatives and web-sites a pro-drug spammers.

There was a knowledgable caller on the Hugh Hewett show this afternoon that speculated that Soros will try to drive the $ down big time to percipitate a market crash in an effort to unseat Bush.

He said that while a weaker $ is good for the US economy, a percipitous lowering of the value of the $, driven by Soro's demonstrated ability to move money markets, would cause a spike in interest rates and a dramatic downturn in the stock market.

I am confident that there is no reason to put any trust in Soros, he is out for himself and himself only. If he gets the Democrats to buy his song, as it looks like they have, this nation could be burned badly. He's for legal drugs, legal prostitution and a bunch of other far left socialist ideas.

We need a strategy to counter him - I think that it might be, as Hugh Hewitt said, that he has ruined the economy of many a developing nation in his quest for riches.

We pubbies have a few wealthy folks - the Demo's are not the party of Big Money!
