Okay, now I see the floor plans, and now I see where the French doors were. The scrunched-up rug was reportedly right by the French doors. It is thought that maybe the rug got scrunched up by Scott dragging Laci's body through the door.
But the French doors do not open out onto the same side of the house as the driveway. Why would he be taking her out of those doors, instead of out a door closer to the driveway?

Scrunched up rug is #11 on the layout. It does lead to the driveway, right? Or am I lost again?

On the WS floor plan the scrunched rug is shown by the door leading out to the covered patio and not by the patio doors. Confusing, eh!

It is thought that maybe the rug got scrunched up by Scott dragging Laci's body through the door. I hope the prosecution dumps that line of thinking. Every time I look at my kitchen door rug, it is scrunched up. I have 3 kids and 3 pets. No dead bodies have been dragged through that door, save an occasional dead bird.
The testimony is interesting, though, because of Scott's quick lie. He probably didn't take Laci out that way but is so used to coming up with quick lies for everything.
