I use to catch Rattlers in the Mesa Verde National Park, so they could be relocated out of the public areas.

I've grown up a bit since then (by about 21 years)!! I can't believe I did that! I still like snakes, but I don't think I would be happy coming face to face with a poisonous one!

My late grandfather had a whole vivarium filled with snakes while he was still living in Brooklyn, but he eventually discarded it.

I don't know whether it was because the snakes actually died or he just got tired of maintaining them and gave them to someone else.

I had a garter snake for about a year.

He enjoyed the habitat so much that he sunk his fangs into my fingers and escaped through a hole in my bathroom.

I had a copperhead crawl up into my left armpit while lying in ambush on an FTX at Knox.

Not really.

After I got over the initial shock and stopped trying to rustle him into an enclosed space, I was fine.

I did have to go all the way to Methodist Hospital to get a tetanus shot though.

Well, it happened like this...

I FReep as much as possible, and I'm at work, (self-employed so I work all the time), and an old friend stopped in. As always, the conversation turns to politics and I asked him if he had been to FR yet. I had told him about the site several times and yes, he has visited. I brought him over to the computer and let him jump on to find some info on Kerry. First, I checked my comments and noticed I missed a zot or two, but I let him check for some good 'Winter Soldier' info. When I went back, I inadvertently did a search on ZOT rather than going back to my comments. I thought this old zot was the new zot and BAMB, here we all are.

Hi: Sorry for posting this here, but I didn't know which thread to put it in. I'm appalled at some of the garbage and lies put forward by liberals, in particular from this group, which is a Canadian site http://discuss.50plus.com/ubb/Forum63/HTML/000043.html
and is heavily anti-American and very left wing.

Of all the accusations though, this one got me:
