RIGHTS TO NOME FLASH PRESS RELEASE - NOVEMBER 5, 2003 www.RightsToNome.com
"Rights To Nome" Iditarod Race 1747 Crosson Ave Fairbanks, Alaska 99701 (907) 455-7850
Rights To Nome project enlists "Caravan Connection" for transport, search, rescue, and retrieval. Volume 1, Issue 2
FAIRBANKS, AK: While competing for the Iditarod sled dog race title, musher Mike Lawless will be carrying copies of your Bill of Rights in his dog sled. Mike's "Rights to Nome" quest appeals to all Americans to re-educate themselves about your Bill of Rights, and consider joining him in symbolically "ratifying" this foundational document for our generation, assuring its protections for those to come.
Lawless intends to stop at the numerous schools along the remote path through the Alaskan bush, so that he may deliver copies of your Bill of Rights to the youth that represent our country's future.
Recently, to generate more exposure for this important mission, Lawless signed the Goldpanners' "PannerVision" broadcast crew to provide a webcast of his quest in the 2004 Iditarod.
This week, Mike's team was joined by the Fairbanks-based flight company. While flying in support of the Rights To Nome project, "Caravan Connection" will carry the "Iditarod-Webcam" crew ahead of the dog sleds for live broadcasting stops along the Iditarod trail. Caravan Connection will also assist in aerial search, rescue and retrieval operations.
Copies of your Bill of Rights will be carried on-board, allowing for a greater number of Iditarod viewers to be exposed to our precious liberties as published by our Founding Fathers.
By envisioning a recapture of the "spirit of '76," Mike Lawless is the new Paul Revere, riding one thousand miles through Alaskan wilderness to alert his fellow citizens of approaching danger.
