You're right - they do - especially when they are as compulsive as Scott. He probably know he shouldn't go but just couldn't help himself.

Julie I think part of the reason Snotty went back to the Bay a few times was to make SURE nothing needed to be RE-SUNK. He sure as heck didn't CARE about his wife and son. He was just making sure that no evidence came floating up to the top. By the end of 3 months or so he was very cocky!!

The defense seemed to want to bring out that on those days he went, the newspaper had mentioned that the police were back at the Bay. The defense seems to think this makes him look less guilty. They seem to think that, oh, well, the paper mentioned the search was going on at the Bay, so naturally he went out to see.

But we think it makes him look more guilty, b/c we see it as Scott being nervous about the cops being so close to the actual bodies.

Sorry, Geragos, it's a wash! You're gonna have to do better than that to explain why he rented a car and THEN drove the rental car out there. Oh, wait, I forgot! He was just avoiding the media. Of course.
