Why can't the Reppubies just hold a vote, if it is over 51, then send the Justices to their appointed benches and be done with it. Send them to where ever Mr. President Bush appointed them. What can the demons do about it?? Tell them that their silly fillibuster doesn't count in this instance and be done with it! Move on!

hmmm...that would be stupendous! They could say they REFUSE to break with the constitutional standard set for advise and consent. They could do the up or down vote and shock the hell out of this nation! (And assure their seats in the next election cycle!)

That's what I don't understand. This "filibuster" isn't preventing a vote. Hold the damn vote.
