Acquired CP is one of FOUR types of CP:

Prenatal, perinatal, developmental and acquired. The only type that would apply in Terri's case is acquired, as the others are present at birth or shortly thereafter.

our 12 year old has CP that was aquired at birth. She was born premature due to a drug addicted mother. She is actually at the dr. today for a check concerning a possibility that it is now starting to affect her spine....We took her when she was 6 months old as a foster child and have raised her.
