Hmmm... Saddam used to have lots of anthrax, VX, and chemical weapons, but we can't find any... Al Qaeda was training with such weapons in the past... Iraq and Al Qaeda have been working together for over 10 years... I wonder.. do ya' think? Who might have all those chemical and bio weapons right now? Nah! Couldn't be!

Has anyone heard any news about what has happened to all the Iraqi embassies' documents and personnel? I would think that we would have access to them.

This story will never see the light of day.

Does anybody have a collection of quotes from politicians and pundits that said this was not possible and a blatant lie? Suggest you start with Sen. Jay Rockefeller, who wishes to "impeach this president, for lying" to the public. Wait a minute, wasn't Rockefeller mentioned in this article as being the key Democrat briefed?

To Bush critics, no evidence of "links" will be enough. We have an unresolvable dispute because no theory we present about Hussein-Al Qaeda can possibly be Proven Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt You are so right. When a jury is confronted with an accused murderer confessing to beheading and chopping a man into small pieces, and exhonerates him for lack of evidence, what chance does this have?

Tony Snow is not leaving FOX news. He's doing his radio show that he wanted to do for a long time, but he will still be on FNC. Why shouldn't he, afterall Sean Hannity has his radio show and his show on FNC with Alan Colmes

I considered it obvious to even average idiots months ago.I considered it obvious 2 years, 2 months and 3 days ago. It got even more obvious the moment anthrax turned up in Boca Raton.
It should have been obvious long before that.

9 . . . Bin Laden visited Doha, Qatar (17-19 Jan. 1996), staying at the residence of a member of the Qatari ruling family. He discussed the successful movement of explosives into Saudi Arabia, and operations targeted against U.S. and U.K. interests in Dammam, Dharan, and Khobar, using clandestine al Qaeda cells in Saudi Arabia. Upon his return, bin Laden met with Hijazi and Turabi, among others.
QATAR appears as guilty as Iraq of cooperating with Al Queda

Not exactly.
The individual that bin Laden (along with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Zarqawi at various points in their long and checkered careers) were staying with was that of Abdul Karim al-Thani:
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/02/06/international/middleeast/06QAED.html?position=top&pagewanted=print&position=top He's been under house arrest ever since March 2003 when it was learned that he had been the main driver behind the plot to overthrow the pro-US Emir in October 2002 with help from al-Qaeda and Iran (funny how those two keeping popping up together) to keep the US from using his nation as a base from which to attack Iraq.

What is very distressing to me is that if this TOP SECRET memo is leaked this quickly (written October 27th) we have a very BIG problem in the Intelligence Committee, and the Senate and House. People need to be brought on charges for leaking information. Just think is something is leaked that causes the deaths of tens, or hundreds, of military personel, or civilians.
I'm praying that the intelligence people actually did a number of reports, with slightly different wording so that any quotes might be tracked down to the source. Intel briefings like this have NO BUSINESS IN POLITICS! We're talking about national security, and the lives of our fighting men, and more recently, the lives of our fellow citizens.
I hope that they do track down exactly who leaked this informations... Though it's good news, it's possibly far more damaging to national security, and who ever leaked it should be arrested and charged with treason, and given the fact we're in a defacto state of war, should be put on trial for his or her life.

Thanks for this important posting. Why, in the face of compelling evidence from Clinton-era intelligence, do the 'Rats persist in lying?
Hey, as Rush said, tigers will be tigers,it's what they do. Snakes will be snakes, it's what they do and rats will be lyers, it's what they do.
We all know what the mainstream media's response to this will be, NOTHING. They will ignore it just as they ignored the reports of truck convoys leaving Iraq going to Syria. Just as they ignored reports of Kawait arresting smugglers attempting to move WMD's out of Iraq, and just as they are now ignoring the intel memo leaked to Hannity.
Fox's response... A top secret memo linking Iraq to Al Quada was reported today, now back to Rita in Modesto....

The time of the visit from the IIS director was a few weeks after the Khobar Towers bombing. The bombing came on the third anniversary of a U.S. [Tomahawk missile] strike on IIS HQ (retaliation for the attempted assassination of former President Bush in Kuwait) for which Iraqi officials explicitly threatened retaliation. The Dating Game

"i have a hunch it was a democrat..its better for them to have this info come out on a friday night on a relatvly small newsite and drip out rather them an NBC nightly news weekday shocker." I believe you are correct. The leaker probably is a Democrat (or Democrat staffer). But for a different reason.
Being a Democrat, the leaker must assure two things: a.) that the material actually gets out and b.) that the leaker can trust the medium not to blow his cover.
I believe the same person leaked both the memo that described the Democrats' plan to subvert the committee and Feith's report. He leaked them to Hannity and the Weekly Standard, respectively. He knew the leaks would get publicized and that his identity would be secure.
Had he leaked to NBC, he would've had no such assurances. The material may never have seen the light of day and his identity almost certainly have been made known to the "proper authorities" (in this case, the DNC or the Democrat members of the committee).
This way, "he lives to leak another day..."

Not only are they liars, but because they did nothing to stop this duo-terrorist operation, they are directly responsible for the deaths at the WTC, Pentagon, and the passengers on the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania. It was documented that Bill "The Zipper" Klinton was given at least 3 occasions to arrest OBL, but he failed to act on it all three times. That, in my opinion is TREASON!! because it resulted in over 3000 civilians dying in one hour.
