He discussed the successful movement of explosives into Saudi Arabia, and operations targeted against U.S. and U.K. interests in Dammam, Dharan, and Khobar, using clandestine al Qaeda cells in Saudi Arabia. Upon his return, bin Laden met with Hijazi and Turabi, among others.

The high criminal court in Qatar decided to postpone its judgment in a case in which seven supects, six Qataris and one Omani, are charged with attempting to blow up a Passport Department building in Doha.
The decision was put off until a session coming up on September 14 to complete consultations.
