It struck me as ironic that the mission statement of this religious organization never mentioned God, Christ, or the Bible. Perhaps it is not really a religious organization.
Maybe they should be more concerned with the life of Jesus and less concerned with St. Madeleine Sophie Barat.

When did you graduate from there????? My mother-in-law was an English Teacher and Religion teacher there for 30 years (Sacred Heart).

She was avidly pro-life. I was very young when I first got to know her and being a typical college student, wallowing in liberal mush (at Loyola University, Catholic no less) I thought she was dramatic and full of crap.

When I almost lost my first baby, at 22 weeks, and prayed she would get to 24 weeks, a time when others willingly killed their children, I had one hell of a wake up call. I caught up with her beliefs pretty quickly after that.

Accepting money from the Rockefeller Foundation is possibly a blunder. It doesn't necessarily mean that the school's faculty or administration support abortion.

On the other hand, Wheeling Jesuit University, a supposedly Catholic college, invited Janet Reno to be Commencement Speaker in May of 2000, and awarded her an honorary degree. They have never apologized.

But Wheeling DOES believe that some actions represent moral contamination--last year, they severed their relationship with their food service because--horrors!--the company provides food service to prisons!!!

I am aware of NO Jesuit college in the U.S. (there are 28 of them) that has failed to honor prominent pro-aborts in a similar manner.
