Gawd the Dems in the Senate depress me so: from Dodd to Kennedy to Daschle to Kerry to TBFH (The-B*tch-From-Hell)representing New York is there not someone who is an American first and a Dem Party partisan second? Rhetorical question.

"From what I saw Tony had tiny tom dancing the whole time."
Before going on to their next question, an issue could/should be of the fact the question was not answered. Such as-- Let me make this clear you are not or will not answer my question of - and restate the question. What good is have a guest on who won't answer the questions. That's one of the reasons we are in a PR mess. Having to make up for all the lying the Dems have done on whats happening in Iraq. The conservatives have one Cable station to get our point across.

Did any of you see Bernard Goldberg on Tim Russert's show on CNBC last night? Tim gave Bernie the whole hour. My wife and I could not believe it. Tim was fair and balanced, although throughout the interview Tim looked like he had just lost his best friend. Bernie was quite good and got his points accross very well. I really enjoyed it and recommend it, if it is on again.

Sorry, I disagree. I think Tony's questioning was vague and indirect, talking about the Democrats' attitude, or strategy toward the judicial appointment process rather than using specific quotes from the memo. When Daschle directly contradicted the words of the memo, Tony accepted that. He failed to focus on the most damning points of the memos: that they were opposing nominees because of their race.
He did not force Daschle to defend his parties misrepresentations of the facts about links between Hussein and bin Laden in the wake of the Defense Department report--specifically those of Carl Levin who claimed one week ago on the same program that Ansar al Islam was not aided by the Baathists--two weeks after Levin himself as a member of the Intelligence Committee received a copy of the report which says otherwise. And those of Jay Rockefeller who claimed that there was nothing new in the report. How's this?:
"If there was nothing new in that report, then why have Democrats been claiming for months that the administration is lying about links between Hussein and bin Laden."
The questioning left me frustrated and disappointed.
-The Sheeple.

"If the sheeple could think logically, Tony did a fine job. He hit him with good, tough questions that Dashole had to filibuster with talking points until Tony had to move on since he knew he wouldn't get anything but a repeat".
Well, this sheeple hasn't seen this FNS, yet- 3 hrs. to go, but FN is my news channel. Why let him filibuster with talking points until Tony had to move on. That meant Daschle controlled the show. If an interviewer has to move on - let him state the fact that the guest did not/would not answer the question. What good is have a guest on who won't answer the questions. That is one of the reasons we are in a PR mess. Having to make up for all the lying the Dems have done on what is happening in Iraq. The conservatives have one Cable station to get our point across.

Prerequisite for leadership in the dim party is the Faustian deal. Bill, Hill, McAuliffe, Daschle etc etc, have all signed the line. I read Goethe's Faust more than 30 years ago, and if I recall, the terms of the bargain were that Faust would forfeit his soul if he ever stopped striving, in other words, quit. Maybe that explains the RATS' persisitance.

Faust sold his soul for 24 more years of life. In that 24 years, knowledge and pleasure was his, at the snap of a finger. In my context, I was implying that they have all made a deal with the devil, and by their actions of lies and deceit, the devil will get his due.

O.K., first things first, nobody here five days, nevermind five years is a sheeple. I'm sorry that you two thought I was calling anyone here a sheeple, that was not my intent.
While some of us may be disapointed with somewhat of a lack of tenacity from Tony, we all know the game Dashole was playing. If 'the sheeple', the general public, who don't eat, sleep and breath politics like most of us here do, used logic in their thought processes on a regular basis, Dims would be an endangered species with their double-speak and answering questions with non-answers.
About the memo, Dashole from the start said he didn't see it, so it would have been totally unproductive for Tony to sit there and insist "Yes you did." If there was unlimited time, he should have pounded him, but he didn't have that luxury, better to move on to the next subject after making him look to be either a liar or clueless about what is going on under his leadership.
Why let him filibuster with talking points until Tony had to move on.
Dashole didn't take a breath through each answer, and yeah, Tony could have done better. But with his leaving soon I'm sure it would not be appreciated if he alienated Little Tommy to Fox by starting a fight.
As far as the Hussein/bin Laden connection, again Tony could have done better. But the problem there is that Dashole had an easy out by saying "you'll have to talk to them".
All that being said, I'd be all for bludgeoning him since he really is a useless guest to do anything but spew talking points, he is very disciplined. But he is theoretically a ratings draw being the minority leader, which is the bottom line for a media company. My opinion is that Tony did a pretty good job in the situation, others mileage may vary.

"Little Juan: Bremer's rushing back to DC this week obviously meant that the Administration is panicking - we're losing!!!"What gets me most about these leftists is that during the Clintoon administration, putting your finger to the wind and adjusting was a virtue, now adapting to a changing field is a faliure. I guess on this, and every other issue, it just comes down to partisan hypocrisy.

After all, wouldn't want Brit to accidentally step on the roach as he was crawling off the setLOL!!!
What an image!!
I have FoxNews (rerun) on now.
I think Tony did pretty well with Tommy.
Tony didn't score a TKO, but Tommy's neck must be a wreck from all his dodging and weaving.

I know that - I know who your were referring to - I was teasing you!!!
But --- all the more reason to force an answer so the 'sheeple' at least hear, for one hour on FoxNewsSunday, answers to questions instead of their running mouths.
Wouldn't it be great if a Fox host said to a guest that couldn't answer a question because he had not read or seen it,- please take this (paper) and while you read it, we will leave you and continue with other guests. Unless you need your staff to tell you what it says.
My point is - call their bluff.

Retired Army Gen. Wesley K. Clark is lost without the UN, France and Germany. I don't trust Clark. If their is a domestic problem Clark sounds like he would ask the UN for assistance.
****
I think that Gen Clark is the kind of "organization man" who makes a career of pleasing the boss. Some people can rise very far on that method. Unfortunately for him, the President of the US is not one of those places. He has no clue of an independent idea or belief.

RE Russert and Goldberg: - I listened to Bernie be interviewed by a local talk show host and he commented that Russert was the best of the talking heads.
So which came first - the Russert interview, or the Goldberg compliments. I have a feeling the Bernie has even written about Russert being the fairest in his new book

I was teasing you!!!O.K., O.K., one reply from 'a sheeple', I would have thought that, but the previous reply was also signed "-The Sheeple.". So I figured somehow my tone was off.
please take this (paper) and while you read it, we will leave you and continue with other guests. Unless you need your staff to tell you what it says.
Ohh if we only had media that would try that and 'public servants' who took that description seriously. Of course we will never get that until 'the sheeple' demand it, lets continue trying to help them realize how important it is. :)
