[history]
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Prisoners held at the county jail on minor charges such as public intoxication or disturbing the peace said they were stripped, ridiculed and often left naked or almost naked without food or water for as long as 12 hours, according to a new investigation by a local newspaper. Many were held in "safety cells" - isolation cells designed for violent, suicidal or self-mutilating prisoners - although the list of strip-search victims includes a woman celebrating her engagement, a 46-year-old father of three who was never charged with a crime and a 70-year-old nun arrested during a peace protest, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday.

And I guess that this has NOTHING to do with the fact that SanFran is totally run by the Left Coast Gay & Lesbian Association.

Only 14 people complained over a period of 10 years? The Sin Freaksicko lockup must have a lot of happy customers.

San Francisco is the last place I'd want to be strip searched and left naked.
I thought life was perfect in liberal nirvanas?

"A 70-year-old Roman Catholic nun reported being strip-searched after she was arrested at a peace demonstration. "
You can't be too careful when it comes to nuns. Particularly those old ones are cunning and devious.

I am completely non violent.....
See, all you need to do is ask people, right? Like noone would ever lie?
I think there should be a mandatory body cavity search for all antiwar protestors.

I can only wonder what a strip search of a transexual would be considered inappropriate. I mean think of the legal angles on the left coast.

I thought that in San Francisco strip searches were considered foreplay.

Even though I'm not in the mood, you deserve recognition; you dirty old man, you.
To: steppenwolffe
A strip search isn't cruel or unusual.
