Bush has clearly revealed that he is smarter than they are, has a much more profound conceptual understanding, and also is capable of acting on that basis. And - gasp! - succeeding.
They hate him because they're jealous.

What we have with the left is two types.
1 The leaders, who crave power (often for it's own sake).
2 the mindnumber followers who if the had a real thought, left it behind long ago.
