He closed the door, walked around to the driver's side, got in and drove off. Left her standing at the curb. I'd like to buy that guy a beer! Actually, on another thread, someone related a story about a woman who glared at him when he held open a door. I told him that my response would have been to say "Don't flatter yourself. I'm an equal-opportunity offender -- I hold doors open for EVERYONE."

I worked with a male hating women and she despised when a man would hold a door open for her. I on the other hand love it. I like you also hold doors for male and female it is common courtesy.
